How to Join NEFGAJoining NEFGA is a simple, painless 2 step process. First, fill out the Membership form. This will send off an e-mail to our Membership Director with all the personnel data we need for our records. Second, go to our forums and create an account. When the Membership Director gets your email, you will be added to the "NEFGA Member" usergroup. That's all you need to do to become a member of NEFGA, and have your stats listed on our Hall of Fame. Becoming a Voting member requires one additional step. You need to pay dues (currently $5.00 per person). To do this, you need to contact our Treasurer, and follow their instructions. After dues are paid, the Treasurer will add you to the Voting Members usergroup. This will grant you access to the special, Voting Members-only forums. |
NEFGA Mission Statement:The Northeast Florida Geocachers Association promotes the sport of geocaching, educates new and continuing members in the sport and provides fun, creative and educational "event caches". The NEFGA is a central place for the sharing of geocaching-related information for Northeast Florida. What is Geocaching?Geocaching is a fun adventure game for the whole family using GPS technology. All over the world people set up "geocaches" and share the location coordinates with others. There are a simple set of rules that keep the game fair and safe. If you are a BellSouth.net user, and you have not been getting any emails from nefga.com, it's because I believe they think we are a spam site. The error message I've been getting from them is Quote:

[size=18]We are now taking orders, from non-voting NEFGA members and geocachers statewide, for the 2009 NEFGA Geocoin.[/size]
Here is the preliminary design:
The logo side of the coin will be a 2D engraving, the back of the coin will be 3D engraving. There will be no color. The The finish will be Antique Silver, depending on the orders how the final manufacturers design is suited to that finish.
The coin is trackable on geocaching.com
Price: $12 for the first coin, $10 for each additional coin.
To place your order, send a Private Message message to me via the NEFGA forums that includes the number of coins you would like to order and your paypal email address. I will respond with payment instructions.
