I mainly use a E trex original gps but last week it decided to stop looking or receiving satellites looking to replace it with this : Lowrance - Endura Out&Back GPS - Yellow. Does any have any expreince with them or would as a Garmin Colorado 400i be better choice. I also use a Garmin Nuvi 1200.
Look forward to your impute. Hoping to not have to carry two gps untis on the trail. |

| I personally have the Colorado, and I love it! My dad liked it so much that he just bought one off Ebay! |

I have a Garmin eTrex Vista HCx which I have had goodluck with. It does need to be calibrated on occasion, but since I don't have any experience with other GPS units, I don't know if this is a process that needs to be done on other handheld units. Otherwise, no issues and I am pleased with the way it works.
It has a color screen, terrain, and a lot of other functions.
Plus, my wife crushed my last one trying to put the seat of the Jeep down and the Garmin rep replaced it under warranty. Good customer service does go a long way in making a customer loyal to a product. |
